Ruby Elvera Anglin of Sabinal passed away on July 15, 2008 in Port Lavaca at the age of 88. She was born on October 26, 1919 in Concan, TX to Ben and Annie Rankin. She is survived by a son, Ben Anderson and wife, Dianne of Port Lavaca; two daughters, Sylvia Sanderson and husband, Jack of Glen Flora; and Ernestine Beauchamp and husband, Dan of Spicewood; eight grandchildren, Clint Anderson and wife, Fairleigh and Amanda Guillen and husband, Carlos, Jr. all of Port Lavaca; Brian Anderson and wife, Amy of Victoria; Kathy Baca and husband, Odie of Taylor; Leann Blair and husband, Gary, and Quint Sanderson all of Wharton; Sherry Dooley and husband, Tom of Georgetown; and Terry Barton and wife, Carol of Wichita Falls; seven great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Opall Wall and Oleta Roberson, both of Sabinal. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, M.S. Anglin; daughter, Kay Ann Anderson; and two sisters, Doris Shofner and Winona Cronenberger. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 21, 2008, at 2:00 PM in the Sabinal Cemetery, Sabinal, Texas. Funeral arrangements are by Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary, Uvalde, Texas.
