Rudy Alejandro

Rodolfo "Rudy" Alejandro of Uvalde passed away on June 16, 2016 at his daughter's residence at the age of 93. He was born on September 14, 1922 in Sabinal to Ernesto Alejandro and Francisca Pina Alejandro. He is survived by his wife, Alicia Alejandro; daughter, Alma Salazar and husband, Vicente of Uvalde; sons, Rodolfo Alejandro, Jr. of San Antonio; and Joe Alejandro and wife, Ann, and Eugene Alejandro, all of Uvalde; sister, Carolina Puente of Sabinal; brother, Antonio Alejandro of Sabinal; four grandchildren, Luke Alejandro and wife, Neva; Dylan Alejandro and wife, Jennifer; Vinnie Salazar and wife, Melinda; and Sierra Nicole Alejandro; and eight great-grandchildren, Nicholas Salazar, Julian Salazar, Layla Salazar, Kaitlyn Alejandro, Emily Alejandro, Sophie Alejandro, Elie Alejandro, and Rosalie Alejandro. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Michael Salazar; brother, Ernesto Alejandro, Jr.; and two sisters, Consuelo Morales and Margarita Alejandro. Mr. Alejandro was a WWII veteran. A memorial graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 9:00 AM at the Alejandro-Toombs Ranch on Hwy. 117 near Batesville. Cremation was under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
