Ruth Uriegas

Ruth Ann Uriegas of Uvalde passed away on August 5, 2022, at her residence at the age of 67.

She was born on April 14, 1955, in Lytle, Texas to Eloisa (Muraira) and Jacinto Martinez.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Valdez and husband, Andy of Lytle; sister, Elda Cooke of San Antonio, Loisa Morin of Lytle, Ofelia Garcia of Hondo, and Mary Ann Martinez of Lytle; brothers, Roger Martinez and George Martinez both of Lytle; daughter in law, Lesli Solis of Lytle; 6 grandchildren, Andy Valdez, Jr., Samantha Valdez, Adrian Valdez, Danielle Solis, Lane Solis and Hailey Solis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roberto Uriegas; sister, Delia M. Garcia; son, Steven Solis; and 2 brothers, Alfredo Martinez and Jake Martinez.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Andy Valdez, Sr., Andy Valdez, Jr., Samantha Valdez, Adrian Valdez, Danielle Solis, Lane Solis and Hailey Solis.
