Ruthanna Reeder

Ruthanna Price Reeder, beloved mother and grandmother went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 28, 2010. She was born August 6, 1922 to Daniel land Lucille Whitehead of Toledo, OH. She was adopted at 3 weeks by Charles and Barbara Price of Findlay, Ohio.

Ruthanna was a gifted musician in voice, piano and organ and continued playing until her death. She was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. Ruthanna was active in the Uvalde Hospital Auxiliary, the VFW Auxiliary, and the Chili Peppers, and was a volunteer for El Progreso Library and the Aviation Museum.

Ruthanna is survived by her two daughters, Julie Spinks and her husband Roger, of Rocklin, California, and Maggie Gunn and her husband, Frank of Uvalde. She is also survived by a sister, Virginia Robbins of Florida, a stepson Dale Jensen of California, four grandchildren, Kevin, Joel, Lisa Caye and Lori Lee, and two great grandchildren, Eric and Brittany.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 5, 2010, at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. Donald Olson will officiate.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Memorial Fund, the El Progreso Library, or the Aviation Museum.
