Ryan Balboa

Ryan Anthony Balboa formally of Uvalde, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021, in San Antonio at the age of 21.

Ryan was born on June 25, 2000, in San Antonio to Ruben Jr. and Julie (Moreno) Balboa.

Ryan is survived by his parents, Julie and Ruben Balboa Jr. of Portland; brother, Ruben Balboa III of Portland; maternal grandparents, Cruz Moreno Jr. and Josefa; paternal grandfather, Enrique Alvarez of Crystal City; aunts, Lisa Moreno of Uvalde and Frances Hernandez and husband, Eric of Houston; uncle, Cruz Moreno III and wife, Jennifer of Austin; numerous great aunts, great uncles, cousins, great cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, San Juanita Moreno and paternal grandmother, Martha Alvarez.

Visitation will start on Monday, August 9, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A rosary and vigil will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
