Salamon Martinez, Jr.

Salamon Martinez, Jr. of New Braunfels, formerly of Knippa, passed away on July 30, 2011 at his residence at the age of 59. He was born on September 4, 1951 in Knippa to Salamon and Juanita Vasquez Martinez. He is survived by his wife, Norma Martinez of New Braunfels two sons, Johnny Martinez of Uvalde and Christopher Lee Martinez and wife, Vanessa of San Antonio daughter, Lydia Martinez of Knippa sisters, Susie Ramirez and husband, Victor of Orange, TX Frances Jimenez of Knippa Barbara Orona of Uvalde and Maria Elena Sandoval and husband, George of La Blanca, TX brother, Larry Martinez of Knippa 9 grandchildren 4 greatgrandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents brother, Robert Martinez sister, Betty Alvarado sons, Salvador Martinez and Salamon Martinez III and daughter, Roxann Martinez. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Knippa with burial to follow in the Knippa Catholic Cemetery.
