Sandra Herrera

Sandra Herrera of Uvalde passed away on October 22, 2018 at Amistad Nursing Home in Uvalde at the age of 58. She was born on September 4, 1960 in Marfa, Texas to Harry Joe and Lydia (Balderrama) Lujan, Sr.
She is survived by her mother of Weatherford; daughters, Amanda J. English Herrera of Weatherford, Alexandra M. Herrera Mirelez and husband, Joe of Uvalde; son, Samuel L. Herrera and wife, Melissa of Statford, Oklahoma; sisters, Laura L. Fuentes of Alpine, Barbara A. Landaverde of Weatherford, Rebecca (Becky) Lujan Burns and husband, Ronnie of Aledo; brothers, Albert Lujan of Mineral Wells and Harry Joe Lujan Jr. of Marfa; 9 grandchildren, Hannah A. Montanez, Gabriel MJ Herrera, Kenna L. Herrera, Harley JM Herrera, Brayden J. English, Joe Aiden Mirelez, Christian Mirelez, Jesse Mirelez, and Caleb Mirelez; 17 nieces and nephews; and 4 great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Harry Joe Lujan, Sr., brothers, Daniel Lujan and Samuel Lujan.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
