Sandra Lara

Sandra Kay Lara of Uvalde passed away on April 7, 2018 in San Angelo at the age of 76. She was born on November 19, 1941 in Anaheim, California to Marion Nathaniel Lester and Ruth Margaret Ann Rourke.
She is survived by her daughter, Coleen Speas and companion, Omar Negron of Florida and Michelle Benavides and companion, Juan Carranza of Uvalde; son, Sean Lara and wife, Lori of San Angelo; sister, Patricia Hix of Ramona, California; brother, Michael Lester of Bakersfield, California; grandchildren, Ryan Benavides, Kruz Benavides, Joel Benavides, Johnnie Carranza, Lawson Lara, and Skye Lee Lara; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Chapoy Lara and parents.
Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
