Santos Vasquez

Santos Luna Vasquez of Uvalde passed away on May 30, 2012 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 92. He was born on November 28, 1919 in Uvalde to Jesus Ruiz and Margarita Luna Vasquez. He is survived by his wife Olga Mendez Vasquez, daughters, Viola Vasquez Cruz and husband Rene William, Norma Jean Vasquez and Cindy Sue Gonzalez and husband Frank all of San Antonio sons, Hector M. Vasquez and wife Mary, Santos M. Vasquez Jr. both of San Antonio, Ervey M. Vasquez of Austin, Arturo Vasquez, George M. Vasquez , Gilbert M. Vasquez and wife Sandra and David Jason M. Vasquez all of Uvalde sister, Maria V. Valles of Jerome Idaho brother, Enrique L . Vasquez of Uvalde, grandchildren, Michelle M. Palacios, Jennifer N. Vargas, Hector Edward Vasquez, Alan Vasquez, Megan Line Boytos, William Patrick Cruz, Justin Elliot Cruz, Santos Tito R. Vasquez III, Steven R. Vasquez, Angela Lynn Vasquez, Eric John Navejar, Priscilla Ann Navejar, Briana Alena Vasquez and Sarah Elise Vasquez, 20 greatgrand children and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Herminia V. Wilson, Esther B. Reynosa, Feliz V. Pickens, Amelia V. Sanchez and concepcion L. Vasquez, brothers, Juan L. Vasquez, Rodolfo L. Vasquez and Jesus L. Vasquez and daughterin law, Marylou Olivarez Vasquez A rosary will be held on Sunday June 3, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral mass will be held on Monday June 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Santos Tito R. Vasquez III, Steven Vasquez, Alan Vasquez, William Patrick Cruz, Justin Elliott Cruz, Eric Navejar, Hector Edward Vasquez. Honorary pallbearer will be Josue A. Vasquez.
