Selma Dicke

Selma Bertha Dicke of Uvalde passed away on December 29, 2010in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 94. She was born on August 29, 1916 in Knippa, Texas to Daniel and Bertha Runge Langner. She is survived by one son Charles Dicke and wife, Frankie of Tilden, Texas and Uvalde, Texas one brother John Langner of Uvalde, Texas daughterinlaw Karen Dicke of Luling, Texas two grandchildren Kyle Dicke and wife, Stacey of New Braunfels, Texas and Blake Dicke and wife, Shanna of San Antonio, Texas three greatgrandchildren Ashton Dicke, Grant Dicke, and Samantha Dicke numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents husband, William John Dicke one son William Dale Dicke five sisters Annie Meyer, Gertrude Wagner, Erna Crenshaw, Susie Dicke, and Helen Crumley three brothers Gus Langner, Henry Langner, and Ernest Langner. Funeral services will be held on Monday January 3, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Knippa, Texas with burial to follow in Knippa Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Dicke, Blake Dicke, Kyle Dicke, Louis Dicke, Leland Falkenberg, and Ray Meyer. Pastor Daryl Knox will be officiating.
