Sergio Munoz

Sergio Munoz of Uvalde passed away on August 30, 2018 in San Antonio at the age of 61. He was born on December 2, 1956 in El Paso to Ramona (Gomez) and Maximo Munoz. He married Tina Carrasco on April 6, 1985 in Uvalde. He is survived by his wife of 33 years; and daughter, Amanda Munoz, both of Uvalde; nieces and nephews, Brandon Carrasco, Jennifer Rivera, Matthew Ybarra, Tony Ybarra, Kevin Ybarra, Heather Perez, and Rebecca Davis; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 2:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with burial following in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alejandro Gonzales, Frank Gonzales, Andrew Rahaman, Robert Flores, Jr., Daniel Flores, and Humberto Torres, Jr.
