Severo Carrillo Sr.

Severo Carrillo Sr. of Uvalde passed away on May 24, 2010 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 80. He was born on October 30, 1929 in Lytle, Texas to Antonio and Amada Carrillo. He survived by son Severo Sonny Carrillo Jr. and wife Gloria of Leakey, Texas two brothers Domingo Carrillo and Margarito Carrillo both of Lytle, Texas two granddaughters Amy Carrillo and Leah Carrillo both of Leakey, Texas numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Carrillo is preceded in death by wife Guadalupe C. Carrillo, parents, three brothers and sisters. A rosary will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday night at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Uvalde Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mario Ruiz, Matthew Ruiz, Chris Arnall, Eddie Arnall, Robert Gonzalez, and Leticia Irrizary. An online guest registry may be accessed at www.rekfunerals.com.
