Sharon Counselman

Sharon Giffin Counselman of Sabinal passed away on December 25, 2016 at Medina Regional Hospital in Hondo at the age of 70.
She was born on January 11, 1946 in Uvalde to Willis Clark and Estelle (Herring) Giffin. She married Rev'd Robert L. Counselman on June 5, 1970 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years of Sabinal; sons, George Don Counselman and wife, Holly of Bremmerton, Washington and David Clark Giffin Counselman and wife, Marijane of Texas; grandchildren, Zachary Counselman, Bobby Counselman, David Counselman, Jr., Sharon Counselman, Jessica Counselman, Joseph Counselman; step granddaughter, Brooke Counselman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Sabinal. Burial will follow at Sabinal Cemetery.
