Simon Reyes

Simon Mone Reyes of Uvalde passed away on February 1, 2012 at the Uvalde Health Care and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 85. He was born on September 13, 1926 in Uvalde to Santos and Juanita Ramirez Reyes. He is survived by his daughters, Bertha Arriola and Gloria Reyes both of Uvalde, 19 grandchildren, 40 greatgrandchildren, 5 greatgreat grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Simon Reyes J.R. and Frank Reyes, sister Petra Nila Hita and greatgranddaughter, Amanda Arriola. A rosary will be held on Monday February 6, 2012 and Tuesday February 7, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Albert Reyes, Robert Reyes, Richard Reyes, Adam Reyes, Gabriel Ramirez III and Christopher Rivas.
