Simona Olivarez

Simona V. Olivarez of Pleasanton, fomerly of Sabinal, passed away on July 27, 2012 at The Heights Nursing Home in Pleasanton at the age of 84. She was born on February 18, 1927 in Sabinal, Texas to Rosa Vasquez. She is survived by her sisters, Maria V. Gomez of Sabinal, Juana Rendon of Uvalde, Paula Resendiz and Leonor Pruneda both of San Antonio brother, Roman Garza, grandchildren, Billy Olivarez and Mickey Olivarez and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, husband, Atanacio G. Olivarez son, Bill Olivarez and sister, Lupe Vasquez. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday July 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patricks Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Patricks Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Anthony Alvarado, Joe Rendon Jr., Andrew Alejandro, Adan Alejandro, Militon Borrego Jr., Ryan Jacques, Juan Vasquez and Tony Alejandro.
