Simplicia Grant

Simplicia Ybarra Grant of Uvalde passed away on February 19, 2011 in her residence at the age of 71. She was born on February 8, 1940 in Uvalde, Texas to Ysa and Luisa Lopez Ybarra. She is survived by one daughter Julia Anna Ybarra of Uvalde, Texas one son Rudy Ybarra and wife, Veronica of Uvalde, Texas two sisters Julia Y. Cardona and Petra Y. Flores both of Uvalde, Texas three brothers Alonzo Ybarra and Gumecindo Ybarra both of Uvalde, Texas and Moises Ybarra of Sabinal, Texas numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents husband, Hugh Robert Grant Jr. one daughter Carol Ybarra one brother Felipe Ybarra six sisters Gloria L. Ybarra, Josefa Lara, Manuela Ramirez, Maria Valdez, Guadalupe Ybarra, and Martita Ybarra. A rosary will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 24, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
