Sophie Beard

Sophie Beard of Uvalde passed away on March 12, 2013 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 86. She was born on February 5, 1927 in Uvalde to Glenn Brown, Sr. and Edna Hale Brown. She is survived by two sons, Bobby Beard and wife, Cherry of Odessa and Don Beard and wife, Kim of Uvalde granddaughter, Jeana Beard of Uvalde sister, Lois Lamoreaux and husband, Bernard of San Angelo sisterinlaw, Katie Brown of Scottsdale, AZ and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents husband, Chester Beard and four brothers, Glenn Brown, Jr., Buck Brown, Morris Ray Brown, and Thomas Brown. Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Hillcrest Cemetery.
