Stacey Lee Hocker, 56, of Uvalde died on Nov. 6, 2023, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held on Nov. 19, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Aldine Cemetery off Reagan Wells Road.
He was born on May 27, 1967, in Lubbock to Lynda (Schaefer) and Elmo Hocker.
He married Stacie Coffelt at Aldine in Reagan Wells on Nov. 19, 2011.
He was a floor installer in and around Uvalde for 35 years.
The family said he loved his family and had a great faith in God.
He is survived by his wife, of Uvalde; mother, of Uvalde; two sons, Matthew Hocker of Uvalde and David Hocker of San Antonio; two daughters, Melodie Hocker of San Antonio and Hannah Hidalgo of Leakey; stepchildren, Tiffany Voelcker of San Antonio and Tommy Voelcker of Somerset; two brothers, Kevin Hocker of San Antonio and Michael Hocker of Kerrville; sister, Charlene Pivoda of Uvalde; four grandchildren, Chloe Hocker, Lily Hocker, Hunter Hidalgo, and Miles Hidalgo; four step-grandchildren, Kade Keyser, Willow Voelcker, Huntleigh Voelcker, and Colt Voelcker.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elmo Hocker; and both sets of grandparents.
