Steven passed away at his residence in Utopia, Texas on August 21, 2015, after a short battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his father, Edwind Novosad and sister Vernell Perkins. He is survived by: his wife, Theresa Novosad, two daughters; Teresa Novosad and Julie Novosad Belt and husband Nicholas Belt, two grandchildren; Alexus and Cainan Belt; step-daughter, Yvonne Roberts and husband, Roy Roberts and their children William, Lauren, and Daniel Roberts, step-son Mark Motley; mother, Lima Novosad; brother, Eugene Novosad and wife, Charlotte; niece, Roxie Brown and husband, Mike Brown and their two children, Megan and Bret Brown, and nephews, Nathan Novosad and Philip Perkins, Steven was born and raised in Baytown, Texas and graduated from Lee High School in 1976. He then became an operator at Gulf Chemical Plant which later became Chevron Philips. He retired and move to the hill country to fulfill his dream in 2005 where he became a park ranger at Lost Maples State Natural Area. He then began a travel trailer rental business S and T Travel Trailers. He had many hobbies including fostering and training service dogs, welding, fishing, going to the gun range and loving his own dogs, cats and chickens. Viewing will be held at Utopia Baptist Church on Monday August 24th at 2:00PM and services will be at 3:00 PM, graveside services will be held afterward at Waresville Cemetery, Memorial services will be at Navarre Funeral home Saturday.
