Sue J. Finley of Uvalde passed away on February 25, 2007 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 89. She was born on April 13, 1917 in Yoakum, Texas to Wirt and Sue Johnson. She married Albert Ross Finley, Jr. on August 23, 1938 in San Antonio, TX. He preceded her in death on May 27, 2003. She is survived by a daughter, Sarah Decker of Rockwall, TX; granddaughter, Dawn Fulton and husband, Don; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Fulton; and great-great-granddaughter, Cameron Leigh Fulton all of Royse City, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Sue Virginia Finley; brother, Wirt A. Johnson, Jr.; and grandson, Lee Weir. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 11:00 AM in Uvalde Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Scott will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to the El Progreso Memorial Library.
