Susan Elizabeth (Moffett) Paradeaux, 65, of Uvalde, passed away on April 3, 2024, at Uvalde Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on March 28, 1959, in Carrizo Springs, Texas, to Jan Bookout-Moffett and Joseph "J.D." Moffett.
She is survived by: her mother, Jan McMahon of New Braunfels; loving stepmother, Louise Moffett of Boerne; son, Russell Hill and wife Emilee, of Texarkana; daughter, Kelsie Paradeaux of Uvalde; step daughter, Regina Cain of Bulkhead City, Arizona; sisters, Deborah Moffett of San Antonio and Cindie Pond and husband Tray, of Big Wells; brothers, Tommie Strickland of Uvalde and Christopher Strickland (Alexandria) of New Braunfels; grandchildren, Jacob and Jase Paradeaux, Seth and Evan Hill; numerous nieces and nephews; and close friends, Missy Stewart and Terry Sheedy, and with special thanks to Susan's friend Tammy Davenport, all of Uvalde.
She is preceded in death by her father, JD Moffett; husband, Bruce Hill; daughter, Jessica Hill; as well as many beloved family members.
Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
A private memorial service will be held on May 4th. Following, will be an open Celebration of Life for any family and friends to gather and to share memories at Rosita's Restaurant in Carrizo Springs, at or around 12 pm.
