Sylvia Lamascus

Sylvia L. LaMascus of Uvalde passed away on August 19, 2010 in Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 80. She was born on June 28, 1930 in Burkburnette, Texas to Arthur Clarence and Jewell Mowery. She married Kenneth LaMascus in Ringgold, Texas on May 14, 1950. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Kenneth LaMascus of Uvalde, Texas one daughter Lisa LaMascus of Uvalde, Texas three sons Steven LaMascus and wife, Kandace of Brackettville, Texas David LaMascus and wife, Becky of Uvalde, Texas and Randy LaMascus and wife, Marsha of Middleton, Idaho one sister Lorene Orr of League City, Texas five grandchildren Lindy Orozco, Allison Taylor, Kimberly LaMascus, and Aaron and Clint Hester. She was preceded in death by her parents one daughter Karen Denise LaMascus one brother Phillip Mowery and two sisters Wanda Jaggers and Louise Driscoll. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 24, 2010 at 10:00 AM in First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Scott will be officiating.
