Talisha Martinez

Talisha Marie Martinez of San Antonio, Texas passed in University Hospital surrounded by loved ones on Friday, November 13, 2015 at the age of 16.

Talisha Marie is survived by her baby (service dog) Xena; parents Thomas and Linda (Castro) Martinez of Uvalde; sisters Tammie and Tara Martinez; nieces and nephews Tommie Martinez, Jordan Martinez, Jaelynn Martinez , Jason Martinez, Thomas Martinez al of San Antonio and numerous uncles & aunts. She is preceded in death by her brothers Thomas III and Jose Luis; maternal grandparents Alma Costilla-Rangel & Enrique Rangel; paternal grandmother Petra Martinez.

Talisha was born on January 28, 1999 in San Antonio, Texas to Thomas and Linda Martinez. She recently signed a modeling/acting contract with Dynamic Models and Talent Agency. Anyone who knew her could tell you she was full of life and lived it to the fullest. She wore a smile on her face that worth more than a million dollars shined brighter than the sun in the sky. She was very adventurous always wanting to live on the edge. Being only 16 she was able to live a life that no one could in a million years. She touched many people even if it was for a short moment. Talisha gained her angel wings due to a chronic lung disease called Cystic Fibrosis that she battled from birth. She will be remembered for the beautiful free spirit child that wouldn't let this illness bring her down.

Funeral service will be on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Templo Cristiano with burial followed at Hillcrest Cemetery. All are welcome to come celebrate the amazing life of Talisha Marie.
