Ted Brook

Ted Stephens Brook passed away on April 9, 2013 at his residence at the age of 86. He was born on April 19, 1926 in San Antonio to William James and Ernestine Giffin Brook. He married Rose Bush in San Antonio on August 28, 1948. Brook was one of the founders of the Uvalde Hospice. He is survived by his wife of 64 years son, Ted Brook II and wife, Deborah of Fort Mill, S. Carolina daughter, Stephanie Woods and husband, Benjamin II of Jackson, Mississippi three grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Gwendolyn Brook. Cremation was under the direction of RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
