Teodoro Mendoza, Jr.

Teodoro R. "Ted" Mendoza Jr. of Uvalde passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Metropolitan Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 59. Mr. Mendoza was born on February 6, 1957 in Edinburg, Texas to Eusebia (Reyes) and Teodoro T Mendoza. He is survived by his mother, Eusebia Mendoza of Uvalde; three daughters, Selena D. Mendoza, Chelsea Jimenez both of Uvalde and Anna Kline of Horseshoe Bay; two sons, Brandon Guerrero of Menard and Jake Mendoza of Uvalde; two sisters, Sandra Galvan and husband Jesse and Lupe Ibarra and husband Daniel A. all of Uvalde; three brothers, Fernando R. Mendoza; Juan Manuel Mendoza and wife Armandina, Jose Luis Mendoza and companion Cynthia Mares all of Uvalde; three grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Mr. Mendoza was preceded in death by son, Teodoro R. Mendoza III, his father and sister, Sylvia Mendoza . A rosary will be held on Saturday, September 24, and Sunday, September 25 2016 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 11:30 am at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church with interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
