Teofila Galindo

Teofila A. Galindo of Batesville passed away on June 16, 2008 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 81. She was born on February 26, 1927 in Floresville, Texas to Ezquiel and Porfidia Alcala. She is survived by three daughters; Maria Galindo, Ofelia Galindo and Guadalupe Galindo all of Batesville, Texas; one son; Miguel Galindo Jr. of Batesville, Texas; one sister; Concepcion Martinez of Batesville, Texas; one brother; Agustin Alcala of Michigan; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Miguel Galindo Sr.; parents; one daughter; San Juanita Galindo; one son; Ervey Galindo; and three sisters; Benita Villarreal, Louisa Galindo, and Solome Alcala. A rosary will be held on Friday, June 20, 2008 at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Batesville, Texas with burial following in Batesville Cemetery. Father Anthony Mendoza will officiate. Pallbearers will be Gavino Galindo, Christopher Galindo, Anthony Galindo and Jose Galindo.
