Terresa Jacobs

Terresa Jacobs of Uvalde passed away on January 4, 2021 at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age 56.  She was born on November 12, 1964 in California to Bobby Joe Ives, Sr. and Avril Tipping.

She married Michael Jacobs on June 13, 1981 in Batesville, Texas.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years of Uvalde; daughter, Avril Jacobs and husband, Frank Rodriguez of Uvalde; son, Jason Jacobs of Uvalde; brother, Bobby Joe Ives, Jr. and wife, Janelle of Uvalde; granddaughter, Natalie Rodriguez; uncle, Sammie Ives of Campwood; and family friend, Tamra Wash of Uvalde.

She is preceded in death by her parents; aunts, Evelyn Ives and JoAnn Creech; and cousin, Jeanoyce Wilson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Baptist Temple Church in Uvalde.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
