Tivurcio V. Vasquez of Uvalde passed away on June 29, 2009 in Uvalde Healthcare and Rehab Center at the age of 71. He was born on July 8, 1937 in Uvalde, Texas to Santiago and Feliz Vasquez. He is survived by three sons; Tivurcio Vasquez Jr.; Jose Vasquez and wife, Monica all of Bryan, Ohio; and Dan N. Vasquez of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters; Rosa V. Mason and husband, Michael of Batesville, Texas; and Cynthia N. Vasquez of Daytona Beach, Florida; one sister; Connie Garcia and husband, Henry of Uvalde, Texas; one brother; Santiago Vasquez and wife, Vivian of Uvalde, Texas; four grandsons; David Lee Vasquez of San Antonio, Texas; Jose Luis Vasquez and Adam A Vasquez both of Defiance, Ohio; and Naqui Jo Vasquez of Bryan, Ohio; six granddaughters; Christianna Vasquez of Findlay, Ohio; Alicia, Angela, Polly, Shauwna and Carly Mason all of Batesville, Texas; one great granddaughter; Katya A. Vasquez of Bryan, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Jesus, Trinidad, and Modesto Vasquez; and two sisters; Eulalia V. Lopez and Santos Rodriguez. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Templo Cristiano. Burial will be on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 10:00 AM in Ft. Sam Houston. Brother Eddie De La Rosa will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Tivurcio Vasquez Jr., Jose Vasquez, Dan Vasquez, David Lee Vasquez, Jose Luis Vasquez, Adam Vasquez, and Michael Mason.
