Tobe Whitley

Tobe Lorenzo Whitley of Uvalde passed away on May 13, 2010 in Downtown Baptist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 90. He was born on July 29, 1919 in Fredonia, TX to Tobe and Millie Whitley. He married Nona Cox on May 31, 1947 in Camp Wood. She preceded him in death in 2008. He is survived by two daughters, Lola Berger Teresa Coble and husband, Robert son, Tobe Allen Whitley and numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church.
