Tommy Harris

Thomas Patrick Harris, born October 4, 1934, was the oldest of three sons born to Ella Louise Kennedy Harris and Ralph Henry Harris Jr. He passed away at home in Uvalde on October 31, 2018. From an early age Tom loved to go to the ranch. Whether it was with his grandfather George Kennedy at the Black Mountain ranch or with his father at the Cline ranch, he was at home. After attending college at Texas A&I he came back to Uvalde and continued ranching. In 1973 he met his soulmate Jo Kincaid. They enjoyed many years of happiness until she passed away in 1998. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Ralph Henry Harris III. He is survived by a daughter, Lisa Hastings and husband Roger of San Antonio, a brother Michael Wayne Harris of Austin, a nephew Randy Harris and wife Karen of Magnolia, a niece Cindy Harris and husband Rich Vink of Sabinal, a niece Marcy Kay Harris of Houston, four grandchildren, and 7 great nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Philip's Episcopal Church.
