Tony Billings

Tony Billings, 71, of Uvalde passed away on July 12, 2024, at Uvalde Memorial Hospital. 

He was born on April 2, 1953, in Colorado, Texas to Betty (Billings) and George Sansom. 

Tony played guitar and sang for Tony and the Honky Tonk Band and enjoyed riding his Harley. He was a truck driver for RKW and Lyfe Tyme BBQ Pits. 

He is survived by his son, Cort Billings of Uvalde; two sisters, Melody Williams of Uvalde and Debbie Mahalaek of Port O’Conner; brother, David Sansom of Uvalde; his best friend, John Guerrero of Uvalde and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents. 

Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
