Vada Jessee

Vada Jessee of La Pryor passed away at Amistad Nursing Home in Uvalde on June 3, 2013 at the age of 82. She was born on July 23, 1930 in Comfort, Texas to Charles and Alma Albrecht Waite. She married Hal Jessee of La Pryor on June 17, 1950. To their marriage were born two children Vernon and Holly. Holly met with a fatal car accident in September 6, 1978. Vernon and wife Edna have two beautiful daughters whom she is very proud of. Vada worked for the La Pryor School District and worked in the registrars office at SWTJC until she retired in 1985. She is survived by her husband Hal of 62 years son, Vernon Jessee of La Pryor and granddaughters, Janita Jesse and Halie Jessee. She is preceded in death by her parents brother, Samuel Waite and beloved daughter, Holly. Funeral services will be held on June 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Interment will follow at La Pryor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joseph Valenzuela, Sammy Zapata, Ricky Day, Woody Jessee, Gary Wimer, and Connor Day.
