Veronica Ledesma

Veronica Ledesma, 60, of La Pryor, Texas passed away on August 29, 2024, at St. Lukes Hospital in San Antonio. 

She was born on July 20, 1964, in Crystal City, Texas to Maria (Gutierrez) and Jose O. Ledesma.

She is survived by two sisters, Josefina Maldonado of Uvalde and Anita Ledesma of La Pryor; five brothers, Juan M. Ledesma of Deridder, LA, Jaime G. Ledesma of La Pryor, Ricardo Ledesma of Kerrville, Jose M. Ledesma of Big Wells, and Patricio Ledesma of Kerrville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Teresa Garza and Amanda Ramirez. 

Visitation will begin on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 1 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m., at Rushing Estes Knowles Mortuary.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in La Pryor, Texas.

Interment will follow at La Pryor Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Jorge Maldonado, Ramiro Maldonado, Frank Ledesma, Jaime Ledesma, Benjamin Ledesma, and Emilio Ledesma.
