Veronica Stansell

Veronica V. Stansell of Uvalde went to her eternal resting place on November 11, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 64.  She was born on August 6, 1956 in Falfurrias, Texas to Jose and Magdalena (Azocar) Villarreal.

She is survived by her mother of Falfurrias; daughters, Jasmine Pena and husband, Victor Mata of San Antonio and Holly Curiel and husband, Arnulfo of Corpus Christi; son, Joseph Stansell of Uvalde; sisters, Analee Pimenides of Corpus Christi, Susana Vela of Falfurrias, Norma Chapa of Lake Jackson, Cindy Arevalo of Falfurrias, and brother, Joe Villarreal of Kingsville; grandchildren, Ariela Benavidez, Vijay Mata, Melina Curiel and Jack Curiel; companion, Coleman “Andy” Glaze of Uvalde and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Janie Fontana.

A memorial service will be lived streamed on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. on Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary Facebook Page.
