Victoria Medrano

Victoria Medrano of Batesville passed away on December30, 2010 at Uvalde Health Care and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 85. She was born on March 10, 1925 in Cuidad Juarez, Mexico to Octaviano and Isabel Martinez Almanza. She is survived by six daughters Isabel Ruiz and Adela Munoz both of San Antonio, Texas Teresa Vasquez and Sarita Rios both of Bryan, Texas Josephine Ruiz and Arminda Jasso both of Batesville, Texas one son Lupe Medrano of Batesville, Texas twentynine grandchildren fortyeight greatgrandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents husband Jose Medrano and one son Alfredo Medrano. A rosary will be held on Thursday and Friday at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 1, 2011 at 12:00 PM at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Batesville, Texas with burial to follow in Batesville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Juventino Jasso Jr., Freddie Munoz, Ricardo Ruiz, Lucio Vasquez Jr., Cirildo Rios, Lupe Medrano Jr., Jose Alfredo Medrano, and Raul Ruiz III. Father Anthony Mendoza will be officiating.
