Victoria Rodriguez

Victoria M. Rodriguez of Uvalde, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at her residence at the age of 86.

She was born on January 12, 1935, in Crystal City to Cleto and Luisa (Mendoza) Martinez.

She married Reynaldo Rodriguez on August 14, 1961, in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.

Victoria is survived by three daughters, Reyna Moreno of Uvalde, Mary Ann Rodriguez, and husband Sam Contreras of Knippa and Evangelina Rodriguez-Elizondo of Uvalde; two sons, Paul Rodriguez and wife Anita of Uvalde and Reynaldo Rodriguez, Jr. and wife Elvira of San Antonio; sister, Mary Rodriguez of Uvalde; two brothers, Juan Martinez of Florida, and Cleto Martinez Jr. of Uvalde; 12 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 24 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Victoria is preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Diana Rodriguez, parents, sister, Guadalupe Hernandez, and brother, Anselmo Martinez.

Visitation will start on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at 12:00pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Thursday, July 29, 2021. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021, at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Reynaldo Rodriguez Jr., Dionicio Contreras, Cecilio Moreno, Paul Rodriguez, Angelo Rodriguez, Jesus Robert Rodriguez, Samuel Contreras.
