Victoriana Padilla

Victoriana Padilla of Uvalde passed away on January 30, 2019 at Uvalde Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 88. She was born on April 24, 1930 in San Monica, Mexico to Vicente Salinas and Fabiana Sotelo.
She is survived by her daughters, Rosa Mata, Yolanda Nava and husband, Federico all of Mexico, Blanca F. Cantu and husband, Johnny of Glenn Rose and Victoria Candela and husband, Luis Alvarado of Uvalde; sons, Juan M. Fuentes and companion, Letty Hernandez of Uvalde and Jose G. Fuentes and wife, Victoria Nicole of San Antonio; stepchildren, Lucy Castillo and husband, Albert, Mary Martinez and husband, Benjamin, Jane Castillo and husband, Vanicio, Sara Gallegos and George Padilla all of San Antonio; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cipriano Padilla; parents; son, Castulo Fuentes; brothers, Theodoro Salinas, Roberto Salinas and Vicente Salinas, Jr.; and grandchildren, Jordan Rio Cantu and Harley Nicole Fuentes.
A rosary will be held on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jose G. Fuentes, Juan Carlos Flores, Juan M. Fuentes, Jr., Luis Reynolds, Robert Sanchez and Juan M. Fuentes, III.
