Vila Reed

Vila Elizabeth Reed of Uvalde passed away on April 29, 2012 in Uvalde Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 96. She was born on January 14, 1916 in Central City, New Mexico to Emmitt and Ella Miles McCoy. She is survived by a brother, William Dub A. McCoy of Bandera, TX seven children, Royce Jim Reed and wife, Joan of Leakey Pearl Cribbs and husband, Elmer Bo of Knippa Perry Reed and wife, Nita of Knippa Mary Gilbertson and husband, Gary of Uvalde Opal Tynes of McGregor, TX Elbert Reed of Knippa and Maude Betsy Garner and husband, Jim of Henderson, Nevada and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents exhusband, Royce J. Reed and sister, Corrie Johnson. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 10 AM in the Leakey Cemetery.
