Viola Williams

Viola Bernice Williams of Uvalde passed away on March 4, 2011 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 90. She was born on June 16, 1920 in Lott, TX to Bilo and Eva Bernice Wooley Dove. She married H.P. Red Williams on August 7, 1940 in Bentonville, AR. She is survived by her husband of 70 years sister, Martha Mertins of San Antonio daughterinlaw, Dora Cook of Uvalde six grandchildren, Don Williams Kimberly Sorensen Diane Grimnes Chris Williams David Williams and Ginger Gamez seven greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Hollis Vern Williams and Albert Paul Williams and nine brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Don Williams David Williams Chris Williams Robert Gamez Danny Trevino and Bill McWhorter.
