Virginia Ballard

Virginia Ballard of Uvalde passed away on December 25, 2013 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 95. She was born on February 12, 1918 in Ft. Worth, TX to William Turner and Mamie Anderson Morgan. She married John C. Ballard in Corpus Christi on January 10, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1982. She is survived by two nieces, Barbara Hensarling and husband, James of Uvalde and Marilyn Morgan of Corpus Christi and three nephews, Bob Hunter and wife, Allene of La Pryor and Bill Morgan and Gary Morgan, both of San Diego, TX. Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 2:00 PM in La Pryor Cemetery. Rev. Lonnie Moore will officiate.
