Vivian Kinchlow Cook of Uvalde passed away on August 29, 2013 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 97. She was born on December 7, 1915 in Gillett, TX to Andrew and Narcissus White Kinchlow. She married Willie James Cook in Pearsall, TX on January 21, 1937. He preceded her in death in 1987. She is survived by a daughter, Billie Jean Axel of Uvalde three sons, Ishmael Cook and wife, Alicia of Wichita Falls, TX David Cook of Green Bay, WI and Gerald Cook and wife, Sandra of Elgin, IL two nieces, Ann Thompson of Pleasanton and Rev. Myrtle Jo Neely of San Antonio nephew, Rev. Harvey Ben Kinchlow of Virginia Beach, VA and numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and greatgreatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents husband two sons, Thomas and Marvin Cook brother, Rev. Harvey Kinchlow and two sisters, Dorcas Reed and Christine Wilson. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 10:00 AM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel with burial to follow in Uvalde Cemetery. Rev. Chuck Vargulish will officiate. Pallbearers will be Mario Gonzales Joe Morales Kevin Cook Angel Flores Jerry Cook and Christopher Cook.
