Vivian Brown Jones of Uvalde went to be home with her Lord on October 22, 2019 at Uvalde Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on August 17, 1931 in Vance, Texas to Andrew and Georgie Ruth (Connell) Brown.
Vivian loved horses and goats. She spent her childhood enjoying riding horses and rounding up goats. She enjoyed quilting and bowling. Vivian spent 50 years of her life as a beautician. She also had an awesome ability of painting Indians, wildlife and horses.
She is survived by her three children, Judy L. Walker of Campwood, Robin E. Clark of Uvalde and Joy Crane and husband Charles Mills, Jr. of Carrizo Springs; brother, Sterling Andrew (Red) Brown; grandchildren, John (Bill) Coleman and wife, Colleen, Lukas Clark and wife, Anna, Thomas Cocchiaro and wife, Melissa, Andrew Funk and wife, Becky, Jody Clark and special friend, Alyce, Cliff Mills and wife, Angel, Monte Smith and wife, Jennifer and Brenna Bissett and husband, Nace; great grandchildren, Sara Beth Coleman, Mearah Rose Funk, Christian Taylor Keeney, Teddy Robin Clark, A.J. Funk, Baylee Cocchiaro, Abbie Ballard, Gavon Funk, William Funk, Olivia Bissett and Barrett Bissett; special friend and sister in law, Judy Brown and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, J.D. and wife, Wanda Taylor Brown and Ronnie Dale Brown; sister in law, Rebecca Berry Brown, daughter in law, Peggy Martin Clark; granddaughter, Branda Ann Clark and her beloved bird, Babe.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Vance Cemetery.
Honorary Pallbearers will be David Perkins, David Willis, Raine Hobbs, Tom Brewer, John Powell, John Henderson, Charlie Jones, Richard Esser, Paul Nienaber, and Doyle "Buddy" Brown.
