Vivian Sadler

alignjustifyVivian L. Sadler of Uvalde passed away on April 10, 2007 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 81. She was born on July 5, 1925 in Alfred, Texas to Lou Sidney and Granville Franklin Barnes Martin. She is survived by a daughter, Lou Etta Shackelford and husband, George of Goldsmith, TX; granddaughter, Jody McElroy and husband, Tres of Balmorhea, TX; grandson, Cody Shackelford and wife, Teresa of Corona, Mexico; great-granddaughter, Mayle McElroy of Balmorhea, TX; great-grandson, Monte Shackelford of Corona, Mexico; two brothers, Robert Burrier and wife, Ann; and Wade and Edith Burrier all of Uvalde; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Ray Melton will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tres McElroy, Gaylon Trees, Monte Barnes, Martin Ripp, Chris Potter, and Mark Howard. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
