Viviana Quijano

Viviana L. Quijano of La Pryor passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at her residence at the age of 54. She was born on February 20, 1962 in Crystal City to Francisca (Valdez) and Joel Quijano. She is survived by her father; daughter, Vanessa Marie Quijano and companion Thomas Camacho of La Pryor; two sons Robert Victorino and wife Alma of Uvalde and Paul Vasquez and companion Jackie Daniel of La Pryor; three sisters, Victoria Ortegon and husband Jesse of La Pryor, Juanita Vasquez and husband Leonard of La Pryor, Marina Rios and husband Ramon of Batesville; five brothers, Jesse Quijano and wife Irma of Bedford, Marcos Quijano, Jose Quijano, Joel Quijano, Jr. and wife Elsa all of La Pryor and Martin Quijano and wife Monica of Uvalde; five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Francisca Quijano, maternal grandparents Romana and Ponciano Valdez, paternal grandparents Isadora and Eleno Quijano and nephew John Thomas Vasquez.
A rosary will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 and Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will held on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in La Pryor with burial in the La Pryor Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert Victorino, Paul Vasquez, Thomas Camacho, Frank Martinez, Jesse Ortegon, Pete Contreras, Leonard Vasquez and Jesse Ortegon, Jr.
