Walter Taylor

Mr. Walter Calvin Taylor of Knippa passed away on November 24, 2007 at his residence at the age of 69. He was born on December 23, 1937 in Uvalde to Mabry and Lena Taylor. He married Martha Shane in Sabinal on December 28, 1972. He is survived by his wife of 34 years; sons, Randall Taylor and wife, Dawn; and Keith Taylor and wife, Cindy all of Hondo; and Cody Taylor of Uvalde; sister, Erma Welch and husband, Gordon of Bandera; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sherry Dixon; and brother, Jerry Wayne Taylor. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at 10:00 AM at the 1st United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Scott Bradford will officiate.
