Wave Thompson

Mrs. Wave Swearingen Thompson of Uvalde, Tx. passed away July 2, 2007 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 101.

She was born August 3, 1905 in Artesia, New Mexico to William Richard Mary Swearingen. She married J.O. Shorty Thompson in Uvalde on June 2, 1932. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1978.

She is survived by nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great- great nieces and nephews great-great-great nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 10:30 am at First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Scott Bradford will officiate.

Arrangements are by Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
