William Arthur

On Wednesday July 14th, 2021, Our sweet William "Landry" Arthur fulfilled his purpose here with us and went on to his next great adventure at the young age of 29.

Landry was born on July 15th, 1992 and in his short time here on earth managed to do more good deeds for those he loved and cared about than most will accomplish in a lifetime. His own struggles are what gave him the heart and strength to help others.   He relished in helping those in need and took great pride in their accomplishments.  Our beautiful son lived and loved hard; living life to the fullest, not letting the fear of living get in his way.  He was a loyal friend, loving son, and a doting and protective brother.  His quick wit and passion for politics kept conversations going for hours.  He loved hunting with his Papa, fishing, & traveling. He was smart beyond his years, talented, and successful at anything he put his mind to.   His most enjoyable moments were spent with his brothers, cousins, family & Maudie, taking crazy vacations across borders while leaving no stone unturned, and making memories of a lifetime along the way.

His heart and body will live on for years with those he will continue to keep alive by his generous organ donations.

Landry is survived by his Father, William Allen Risinger; Mom, Casey Arthur Whatley; Dad, Bryan Thomas Whatley; Siblings: Kenneth “Conner” Arthur, Wesley “Carson” Arthur, Briggs Thomas Whatley, Brooks Thomas Whatley, Blair Risinger, Daxton Risinger, Ainsley Risinger, Grandparents: Barbara Arthur, Barbara Whatley, Carl & Courtenay Schwandner; Uncles & Aunts: Clint and Korye Arthur, Harper and Candace Ray, Cousins, Jerrid Arthur, Kenna Arthur, Cooper & Corbin Arthur, Parker Ray, Pierson Ray, Prestin Ray, Presleigh Ray and the village that loved and help raise him.

Landry was preceded in death by his Uncle: Wesley Thomas Risinger, Great Grandparents: Papaw & Mamaw Schaefer, Grandad and Mimi Arthur, Grandparents: "Papa" Kenneth Wayne Arthur, "Grandad" Tommy Risinger, and "Grandpa" Tom Whatley,

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

Although he Is physically not here with us, to this day, Landry continues to surprise us and make us proud.  Fly high and free our love.
