William Hensarling, Jr.

William A. Hensarling, Jr. of Uvalde passed away on March 21, 2012 in San Antonio at the age of 90. He was born on July 25, 1921 in Jourdanton, TX to William A. Hensarling, Sr. and Ella Winn. He married Bobbie Autry in Uvalde on February 16, 1943. She preceded him in death on February 20, 2012. He is survived by three sons, James L. Hensarling and wife, Barbara and Robert G. Hensarling and wife, Carrie all of Uvalde and Gary A. Hensarling of San Antonio two granddaughters, Amy Hensarling Carnes and husband, Jimmy and Sarah Hensarling, all of Uvalde three greatgrandchildren, Miller Carnes Jami Carnes and Jodi Carnes and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents wife and two sisters, Eunice Anderson and Louise Bunting. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 10:00 AM at 1st Baptist Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Scott will officiate. Pallbearers will be James Hensarling Gary Hensarling Robert Hensarling Bob Cathey Jimmy Carnes and Rusty Jones. Memorial donations may be made to the 1st Baptist Church, 220 N. High St., Uvalde, TX 78801 or to the charity of ones choice.
