William Niggli

William Harry Niggli of Concan passed away on August 12, 2008 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 83. He was born in Rio Frio, TX on July 20, 1925 to Eugene Harry and Elizabeth Agnes Bennie Niggli. He married Catherine Wingenter in Boerne, TX on September 28, 1983. He is survived by his wife of 24 years; daughter, Melba Powell and husband, Mark of San Antonio; son, William B. Niggli of Uvalde; stepdaughter, Patricia Ford and husband, Frank of Arlington, TX; stepson, Steve Victor of Houma, LA; sister, Marjorie Jean Hurley of Concan; nine grandchildren, Matthew Powell, Colin Powell, Brady Ford, Jared Ford, Austin Ford, Jacob Victor, Michelle Ledet, Melissa Victor, and Mitchell Victor; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, James Lawrence Niggli; and a brother, Edwin E. Niggli. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2008, at 11:00 AM in the Rio Frio Cemetery. Mr. Niggli's son-in-law, Mark Powell, will officiate.
