W.W. Dozier

W.W. Bill Dozier of Uvalde passed away on February 14, 2012 in Uvalde at the age of 94. He was born in Oakdale, LA on June 10, 1917. Bill loved the game of golf, fishing with his family in Louisiana, and dancing. He is survived by his son, Bill Dozier and wife, Sharon of Uvalde three granddaughters, Donna Dozier of Illinois Shellie Taylor of Dilley and Cindy Streamer of Corpus Christi and five greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Dozier and a sister, Joyce Walter. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the 1st United Methodist Church. Rev. Scott Bradford will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to the Uvalde Hospice, 124 Royal Lane, Uvalde, TX 78801 or the 1st United Methodist Church, 301 N. High St., Uvalde, TX 78801.
